Bayer is one of the largest international companies based in Germany and is organised into four divisions – healthcare, chemicals, crop science and polymers. It operates in 350 countries and employs around 117,000 people.
Gary has worked with Bayer for more than ten years in UK, European and global business groups. More recently, he has been working with the European healthcare diagnostics group, particularly the self-testing business group (which provides blood glucose monitoring products for the management of diabetes), assisting with the integration of a major competitor acquired in the late 1990s and on organisation design and sales and marketing effectiveness.
